We have curated a line up of a number of the stunning swimming pools. We’ve got everything from the most lagoons to the beautiful baths of Budapest. There’s something for every budget and everybody, plus a few to lust over. It is time to split out the bikinis and swim trunks men and women. When the wanderlust bug bites you, don’t blame us.
1. Bintan Lagoon Resort, Indonesia
I had been so lucky to stay here for one night that is amazing during my travels in the Far East. I constantly dream about going back.
2. Double Tree Hilton, Marjan Island, Ras al-Khaimah
Truly, the film says it all. And there’s more to come from Ras al-Khaimah, mainly because we just can not wait to visit.
3. Villa Filippa, Aria Luxury Apulia, Puglia
Villa Filippa is a private luxury pad. Nevertheless you can rent this dream holiday home here.
4. Koh Samui, Thailand
This pool is simply instagrammable. But unfortunately it is out of a private villa that isn’t up for rent. We have the ideal alternative. Picture seeing the sun set from here!
5. Carribbean Pool, Sandals Grande Antigua
We have actually written about this one before (read here) but we only had to bring this up again because we love the intimate character of the refreshing retreat. There are 2 swim-up pool bars and six new water pools at the hotel, so it is the fantasy of a pool-lover!
6. Szechenyi Baths & Swimming Pool, Budapest
Budapest is one of my favourite cities, which is among the reasons. These people thermal baths are among the largest in Europe. Constructed in 1913, the architecture is remarkable. What’s more, it costs just around #14 at peak times!
7. Hotel El Andalous, Marrakech
I had been here last year and I wish I’d never left. While it is sheltered by amazing trees and plenty of parasols for guests, the hotel poolside has the great tanning conditions. It’s really cheap and the employees are friendly.
8. The Westin, Costa Navarino, Greece
That is just another one we’ve written about before, when Seen In The Town was invited to go through Costa Navarino’s delights. Why the cut was made by the swimming pool, however, you can see! Top pick for a romantic weekend away.
9. Banyan Tree, Al Wadi, Ras al-Khaimah
Yes, we know it’s just another one from RAK, however we’re big fans of Banyan Tree resorts and we love the way these pools are landscaped from the elegant architecture of the hotel.
10. Royal Obidos Golf & Spa Resort, Portugal
A last offering from a review we did earlier. Here is reminder of what the pool resembles. Not only is the design that is long-line exceptionally unusual, but the tiles lining it really is spectacular.
