Thailand warmth, the hustle and bustle as well as the culture change draw us in time and time again. Now we’re no strangers to the Amari group (in our latest visit to Thailand we remained here) so when we heard of Thailand’s original beach escape — the Amari Hua Hin’s most recent offer, we only had to talk about it.

Hua Hin is a two and a half hour drive from Bangkok close enough to the action of the island, yet far enough away to feel like a beach retreat. Its roots can be traced back into the 20s when the destination has been thrust into the spotlight as the locale of choice for nobility and aristocrats before becoming King Rama VII’s choice for his summer residence. Nowadays it’s a mix of sea and city using vibrant night markets a varied ambience, street foods and calming stretches of shore.
The Hotel itself heightens understated elegance, using modern design, a state of the art spa and health. It also boasts six unique eateries — Mosaic — a contemporary all purpose restaurant, Coral Lounge Lobby bar, Reef Deli and Wine lounge, Shoreline Beach club, Aqua pool bar and in room dinning, meaning whatever your culinary preference you’ll be more than satisfied.
