Flying into the newly established route to the little yet mightily efficient Kalamata Airport, actually named following the modern day father of this area of Messenia, Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos, we started our journey to the Peloponnese, a scenic region in South West Mainland Greece transformed into the fertile and flourishing retreat that it’s today — the land of Costa Navarino.

Of note was obviously Flame overlooking a wonderful horizon — a really exquisite dining area, but my definitive favourite restaurant of Costa Navarino must be Barbouni Beach Restaurant: Costa Navarino has permission to build 30m from shore, enabling such a spectacular beach setting to enjoy the beautifully fitting cuisine of yummy sea-food prepared with fervour and delicacy; genuinely amazing food, amazing vibe and my number one daily chill out zone with my heart’s desire of great food and beverage neighbouring my sun bed.
*Anazoe Spa is a brilliant must visit if of an standard, Spa, which I would say. Nor is it only the remembrance of an ancient potency to the region and the revival of decency in every facet of the word. No, what I’ve gained from this whole journey is a very well-intentioned penchant for Kalamata Olive Tapenade — A totally amazing treat for breakfast lunch or dinner (and) dinner — I found it at our everyday buffet breakfasts with variety more than you can imagine, it was buffet of amazing create — The olive tapenade was the best thing I have found since Vegan Glazed Donuts! But wow olive tapenade is now an shopping list thing — this excursion to the Peloponesse has really changed my life.
Sitting here thinking of my experience of the place, and the image that stays in my mind is a picture in groves of olive trees that are aged, growing in a climate that is special and in an Earthy property.
