This season is proving to be a unique year for the entire world of hotels. So refurbishments, many openings and new experiences on offer. We are here to share some our hotel selections of 2017. We are going to let the pictures do the majority of the speaking…
ANANTARA VILAMOURA ALGARVE RESORT
Anantara Resorts Hotels & Spas has established it’s first property with the April opening of Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort along the scenic Algarve coast of Portugal, in Europe. Shady verandas face the Arnold Palmer designed Oceânico golf program as well as stunning swimming pools. The Two-Bedroom Anantara Suite will boast a terrace with Jacuzzi, a dining area and sundeck. 
IKOS OCEANIA
Following a 27 million refurbishment, Ikos Oceania was unveiled in April 2017, with exciting enhancements and a spectacular new look for every one of its own 290 rooms and suites. The hotel boasts interconnecting family rooms, family suites with private gardens that are ample and designer sun loungers. 
SEVERIN’S — THE ALPINE RETREAT, AUSTRIA
Severin*s is a luxurious boutique hotel, superbly designed with a stylish après ski bar, restaurant with a Michelin starred chef, an incredible wine cellar, swimming pool complete with saunas, steam rooms and an infra-red cabin, as well as a hair salon and spa suite. There is also a home that is private with its own kitchen, lounge complete with an outdoor hot-tub overlooking the mountains and comfy fireplace, home theatre and workplace, as well as a grand piano.
ANANTARA AL JABAL AL AKHDAR, OMAN
Spectacularly secluded in the Al Hajar mountain range, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort beckons the inquisitive traveller with an array of experiences that are inspirational, to stargazing, archery and mountain biking from mountaintop biking and hiking. Visitors will be able to see the full flourishing of the Damask roses. 
TIVOLI AVENIDA LIBERDADE, LISBON
The Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisbon is an oasis in the middle of the bustling town. This resort opened on the 1st April after an exciting refurbishment, including new family rooms, a new restaurant concept and fresh spa. The Sky Bar of the hotel offers panoramic views of the evening skyline of Lisbon. 
DUKES LONDON
Much-loved 5 star hotel Dukes London, has competed an extensive refurbishment. As part of an exciting partnership, Liberty Fabrics will be supplying public spaces with their patterns that are immediately recognisable and a number of the bedrooms. The popular Duchess Rooms, a service directed at the female solo traveller, will also undergo a dramatic facelift, working closely with Liberty Fabrics to add those stylish, feminine touches. 
DUKES DUBAI
Dukes Dubai is a quintessentially British that located on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, the city’s most hotly anticipated new hotel opening, not to be overshadowed.
