I really don’t have a fear of heights. Quite the opposite, in fact. I love heights. I enjoy viewing the world from up on top and leap in any invite. We figured there has to be a few thrill seekers out there who love living the high life. So we have put together a listicle to the viewing pleasure. If you are following a flight of fancy, trying to join the mile high club or secretly believe you’re Spiderman, this is the place for you. These gravity are the ‘Haute Couture’ of travel that come top of the globe trotting bucket list:
1. Puerto Rico: The Monster
The Monster at Toro Verde is the world’s longest zip line, at 2.5kilometers! Are we what or excited?
2. The Belfort Belfry, Bruges
This historical clock tower in Bruges marketplace square offer some amazing panoramic views.
3. Ile Aux Cerfs, Mauritius
The Treetops Adventure at Ile Aux Cerfs is absolutely genius. I should know!
4. The CN Tower, Toronto
The CN Tower, night or day is a sight.
5. Bethesda Zip World, Wales
We have not been to the Velocity Zip World course in Bethesda, North Wales yet, but we intend to. It’s the fastest on earth and also Europe’s longest zip line!
6. The London Eye
Can we leave out our cherished landmark? Throwback to if we spent a Summer day here sipping gin cocktails high in the skies.
7. Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
Climbing Sigiriya is a must-do when visiting with Sri-Lanka. It’s an ancient rock fortress, known locally as “The Lion Rock”. Once home to a monastery and a palace, it’s currently an ancient destroy of the very views in the country with one.
8. Alp Languard, St Moritz
We went trekking here and we can state St Moritz in Switzerland provides a number of the very views on the planet!
9. Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore
Apart from having one of the most magical infinity pools on the planet, Marina Bay Sands is the aerial resort. It is supposed to resemble a deck of cards, but we think it seems more like a space submarine!
10. The Burj Khalifa, Dubai
It doesn’t get any better than that. No, seriously. The Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building, in 829.8m high! Dubai is the perfect town for those that have a head for heights. It has a LOT of skyscrapers.
