Nestled on the sands of La Cala beach this special dining experience with beautiful views is not on.
The La Cala of Olivia consists of two dining areas, the downstairs being the restaurant which has a sizable amount of indoor and outside seating. There are two bars situated downstairs one which is another and the main cocktail bar and is interior that is situated just to the back of the seating. The dining area is the upstairs. You’ll have noticed that this can be the most recent addition of Olivia, if you watched the aired ITV series Elliot Wright: Playa in Marbella that is based on the restaurant. The upstairs prides itself on being rather than offering a fish bar. Olivia’s La Cala’s interior is decked out in furniture that gives it a real touch of course and sophistication although the exterior is decorated with Moet and Chandon umbrellas and comfy rattan garden furniture.
On arrival you are treated with the upmost care from the staff, the meet and greet employees are even there to assist you up (or even down) the stairs in the event that you might need it. You have the choice to sit at one of the bars and decide on a beverage or just go straight to your table where you’ll be given the menu, before being seated. The A La Carte menu offers a massive range of foods to pick from. It ranges from picking something to be cooked to scallops, on the grill just like a steak therefore there is something for everybody, and curry. The food’s demonstration is something which has been well though out, the food itself has been of a very high standard and it wasn’t short of any flavour. I chose the red thai curry, so I loved the fact that the red curry sauce came at just a jug for you to pour over.
There’s really no feeling of being rushed here after your meal you’re welcome to bring a upstairs or even sit in one of those bars downstairs to get a cocktail or a different tipple of your choice, even though there is a two hour dining table limitation. If your desk isn’t needed for another booking the staff will notify you incase you needed to stay. This restaurant has a fantastic buzz and atmosphere to it which makes you feel as if you truly are special.
The staff really spend attempt and the time to make you feel welcome and complete this fine dining experience. Curtis who you might have seen featured in the TV series served us. He took the time speaking to us taking some photos and nothing was too much. All by were useful and very attentive offering to tailor.
Overall the experience is not one and something. There was nothing I could find any fault in. Therefore, if you are planning a visit to Marbella or perhaps Malaga it is worth popping by to see what all the fuss is all about.
